Weiskopf Guests Present: Mary Tollefson (General Education Committee), Patrick Barlow (Assessment Coordinator) Meeting called to order at 10:00 AM 1. GEAC Annual Report submitted to GEC on May 1, 2015. Based on recommendations from GEC, we will use TaskStream to elicit better responses on Form Bs by improving the prompts and perhaps following up with instructors 2. TaskStream: ○ Patrick Barlow will continue leading TaskStream efforts into the next year. ○ Summer training sessions will be available. ○ We would like previous 2­year cycle worth of data in the existing assessment software to be transferred to TaskStream. This is especially important for comments made by the committee for past Form A submissions that the instructors may need to follow up on. Data from the current and previous year is a priority. ○ Josh Anderson will be retained for another year for minimal support while we make the transition to TaskStream. 3. Form A submissions from the 2014­2015 academic year have all been acted upon. 4. Discussion of how reviewers are assigned in TaskStream: ○ We discussed that random assignment of Form A submissions to reviewers is not possible with the new software. Instead, courses will be clustered into groups and each reviewer will be assigned to one or more groups and assess all the tasks within those groups. ○ Another option we discussed is giving all reviewers access to all Form A submissions, but managing in a spreadsheet outside the system how assignments are made, much in the same way that form B submissions are assigned to reviewers. ○ The committee needs to have one or more “reconcilers” for the TaskStream software, which will issue the final decision for a Form A submission based on the reviewers comments and recommendations.
