Scholarship Qualification Process
Any student who meets the eligibility qualifications set forth by the Material Handling
Education Foundation, Inc. (MHEFI) and attends a qualified institution is encouraged to
apply for a scholarship.
Academic programs must be qualified based upon one of the five methods below:
1. Academic institutions that have been previously qualified by MHEFI will be
grandfathered in, and students from those schools are automatically eligible.
2. Academic programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Board for
Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) are qualified.
3. Academic programs that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate
Schools of Business (AACSB) are qualified.
4. Academic programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business
Schools and Programs (ACBSP) are qualified.
5. Academic programs that do not meet any of the four criteria above will be
evaluated by the MHEFI Board of Directors to determine whether they are
qualified.
