School of Education Collaborative Learning Studio As part of UW-La Crosse’s commitment to supporting student success, the School of Education is proud to announce the addition of the new Collaborative Learning Studio housed in Murphy Library. This new space provides UWL with the ability to train the teachers of tomorrow with the state-of-the-art tools of today. The studio brings educators together to transform the educational process, to innovate with technology, and to engage students. Teacher candidates utilize the space through classes, open hour sessions, and various training and seminars. The SoE Collaborative Learning Studio: Features multiple video conferencing systems to allow students and faculty to connect and collaborate with other students, teachers, and presenters from all over the globe. Provides the opportunity to integrate multiple SMART electronic whiteboards that allow faculty and students to interact with a myriad of software applications, rich media, and the Internet. Allows students to run software from any academic discipline, and it will provide the unique opportunity to annotate with digital narrative, notes, and drawings.
