Position/Working Title: Degree Audit Coordinator Department: Office of the Registrar Position Description: The Degree Audit Coordinator serves as the functional lead for the Academic Advisement module in Oracle Campus Solutions. Main responsibilities include encoding degree requirements, ensuring the accuracy of degree audits for all undergraduate programs, and assisting in the maintenance of the degree audit system. The incumbent possesses strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to proactively identify and solve issues while encoding degree audits for departments across varied disciplines. The Degree Audit Coordinator provides training and support to other staff in the office using the degree audit system. The Degree Audit Coordinator is an integral member of the Office of the Registrar staff and serves as a backup to the Veterans Services Coordinator and Graduation Auditor, and maintains a general knowledge of all day-to-day functions of the office. Essential Functions: 75% • • • • • • • Manage Academic Advisement module Encode and maintain academic requirements Ensure corresponding academic degree audit plans are created in Campus Solutions Develop a quality assurance process to review accuracy of degree audit plans and work with academic departments to ensure proper coding of major and minor requirements Research and test possible structures of majors and minors to better reflect departmental intentions Document, update, and improve policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate updating of degree audit information. Assist with technical upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and the continuous improvement of the degree audit system Train and support office staff on the Academic Advisement module 15% • • • • • • • Assist with Office of the Registrar functions Perform data analysis from batch degree audit runs for colleges and departments Assist with reporting requests from campus departments and the public Assist in graduation processing Assist with transfer credit processing Serve as back-up for Veterans Services Coordinator Maintain working knowledge of routine procedures in office Support the daily transactions of the Registrar's Office and other duties as assigned 10% • • • Miscellaneous Actively engage in professional organizations and development opportunities Network with colleagues from other campuses to investigate best practices Serve on campus committees and represent the office at meetings as needed
