24.01.01 Risk Management Programs Approved January 29, 2009 Revised November 4, 2014 Next Scheduled Review: November 4, 2019 Regulation Statement The Texas A&M University System (system) strives to manage, control and, where appropriate, reduce or eliminate risk to its employees, students and visitors, its financial condition, and its material and natural resources. Risk management programs support this goal by establishing program guidelines that expand upon system policy and state and federal statutes and regulations. Reason for Regulation While members are responsible for being in compliance with System Policy 24.01, Risk Management, and with state and federal risk management rules and statutes, additional risk management programs and/or administrative procedures that exceed or expand upon these requirements may be adopted by the system in order to form a more comprehensive risk management framework.
