SAH Curriculum Committee

Kim Harbst resigned from the committee. Tom Kernozek joined the committee.

Scott Doberstein resigned from the committee. Garth Tymeson joined the
committee.

With the addition of three departments to the College, the entire meeting was
spent identifying needed changes to the committee bylaws. Sections of the bylaws
to be reviewed are:
o Membership. With inclusion of ESHR, the committee has grown from 9
to 12 members. Next meeting, the committee hopes to vote on appropriate
size and make-up (striving for both fair representation across the college
and a manageable committee size).
o Resignations and vacancies. How best to fill vacancies on the committee?
o Core curriculum. As the College diversifies, is a core curriculum
appropriate for such a wide range of departments?
o Quorum. The bylaws currently have no statement as to what constitutes a
quorum.
