The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is creating an adjunct pool of qualified candidates to be utilized
for current and future departmental vacancies.
Hayes Hill Title: Associate Lecturer (D80FN)
Position Description: The successful candidate will be able to teach one or more courses in Psychology.
The department is especially interested in candidates who have experience teaching introductory,
methodological, or clinical/counseling-oriented classes. Excellence in teaching is expected, and
opportunities for engaging in research are available (but not expected).
Department/University Description: The Department of Psychology is one of the larger departments in
the College of Letters and Science, with nearly 450 majors and over 300 minors. In addition to the more
general major, it has a unique Human Services Concentration. For more information, visit

Qualifications:
Required:
- Ph.D. in Psychology (ABD considered)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and teach Psychology courses
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to teach Introductory Psychology or Research Methods
- Demonstrated ability to teach clinical/counseling-oriented courses such as Personality, Abnormal
Psychology, Psychological Assessment, and Counseling and Psychotherapy
Appointment Date: Continuous opening
Terms of Employment: Course load and duration contingent on departmental needs. Salary is
commensurate with education, experience, and terms of employment.
