University of WisconsinLa Crosse Transfer Guide For Students attending western Technical College Aug., 2015 1 How To Use The Transfer Guide In accordance with the UW System transfer policy, UW-L can accept up to a maximum of 72 credits from the Wisconsin Technical College System institutions without first having earned an associate degree. Program to Program Agreements: The guide begins by listing the Program to Program articulation agreements that currently exist between Western and UW-La Crosse. Please contact the Admissions Office at UW-La Crosse for specific information regarding these agreements. General Education Program Course Requirements: The guide also provides an outline of the General Education Program course requirements that all students at UW-La Crosse must complete as part of their degree program. Page 3 of this guide provides a listing of the Western Technical College “100 & 200 level” courses which are applicable toward the General Education Program at UW-La Crosse.
