Geoffroy donates $100,000 to Iowa State research fund
AMES, Iowa Iowa State University President Gregory Geoffroy and his wife
have donated 100 thousand dollars to help fund research and faculty salaries at
the school.
The donation will go to the Gregory L. and Kathleen C. Geoffroy Faculty
Fellowship Fund. The Geoffroys have contributed a combined 250 thousand
dollars to the fund they established in 2001.
Geoffroy, whose background is in chemistry research and teaching, recently
listed faculty support as a top fundraising priority for Iowa State.
