1. Write a paragraph or two about why you think everyone should take a
math class even if they’ll “never use it”. Or, alternatively, if you don’t think
everyone should take a math class, write about why you think so, and also
why you think many majors require that you take one. This should be your
opinion, not what you think I want to hear. As long as your answer makes
sense and is grammatically correct, you’ll get full credit.
