NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 21, 2010 FOR MORE INFORMATION: Craig Threlkeld 205.391.5838 cthrelkeld@sheltonstate.edu SHELTON STATE TO HOST NAVY BAND FOR TWO SHOWS TUSCALOOSA – Shelton State Community College will host the Navy Band Southeast’s Contemporary Entertainment Ensemble, Pride, for two shows on May 7, 2010, in the Bean-Brown Theatre on the College’s Martin Campus, 9500 Old Greensboro Road. The band will be in town in conjunction with the Blue Angels Air Show, May 8-9. Concert times will be at 10:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. Admission is free to both concerts. Navy Band Southeast’s Contemporary Entertainment Ensemble, Pride, is a high-energy unit with a repertoire of hits spanning 50 years, making it an ideal group for military balls, official receptions, and public concerts.
