Worked closely with the Athletics department on athletes academic
performance.
Approved By-High School Review document.
Invited Vice Chancellor McQuade to discuss international students and
outreach.
Invited Wayne Camara from the College Board to discuss the College
Board proposal and goals.
Invited BOARS Chair Mark Rashid to discuss BOARS goals for 06-07.
Approved freshman selection criteria for 2007-08.
Approved freshman scoring guidelines for 2007-08.
Approved Engineering and Chemistry supplemental reader guidelines.
Approved Weighted Index Review and High Index Review.
Response to Academic Council query on the review of the Intersegmental
Committee of the Academic Senate’s proposed resolution on the proper use
of the California high School exit exam.
Approved Augmented Review (AR) Policies and Guidelines for 2007.
Approved Tie-breaking Guidelines for 2007 and 2008.
Approved Advanced Standing selection criteria for 2007 and 2008.
Creation of a subcommittee of AEPE to review low-scoring admits in
March.
Participated in the Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships (CUSH)
student interviews.
Sent letters to the department chairs and deans requesting follow-up
contact on students admitted by OUA asking that the students be
personally contacted and encouraged to accept UCB’s offer to attend.
Approved Conflict of Interest document.
