71, 72 & 80 of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 – regarding.
Please find enclosed herewith a copy* of the Office Memorandum No.
F. 20/16/1998-P&PW(F) dated 19.4.2010 along with a Gazette notification No.
S.O.829(E)* dated 7.4.2010 issued by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’
Welfare, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, GOI, on the subject mentioned above. The existing provision under rule 80 has been amended by incorporating “10% of the gratuity” on account of the unassessed dues (if any) instead of the existing provision of 10% of the gratuity amount or
Rs. 1000-00 whichever is less.
