TAAS—Texas Assessment of Academic Skills
Of the 191 sixth graders tested at School 1 in Site 4, 28 were enrolled in CMP in 1997. TAAS data for the CMP and
total 6th grade students in 1997 were provided by the site coordinator. All sixth graders were enrolled in CMP in 1998.

Participation of these campuses is usually not whole-school. Campuses are participating through their regional
service center, not their districts. A large percentage of the student population at these schools qualify for English as
a Second Language; thus these schools have different testing regulations (e.g. see note 4).
