Review article 9 Coole, G., et al. 2004. Mapping pedagogy and tools for effective learning design. Computers and Education, 43 (1-2), 17-33. The article proposes a model that supports the development of pedagogically driven approaches to elearning. The authors suggest that much of what is descried in e-learning literature could more easily be explained in terms of didactic and behaviorist approaches to learning. They assert that a better articulation and mapping of different pedagogical process, tools ad techniques will provide a pedagogic approach that is more reflexive and consistent with practitioners’ theoretical perspective on learning and teaching.
