CMAA Honors 14 Outstanding

Construction Projects and Programs

A new zoo habitat for elephants, rhinos and other animals, a testing facility for wind turbine blades and a new border fence between the southwestern United States and Mexico were among the

14 projects and program phases recently honored with Project Achievement Awards by the Construction

Management Association of America.

The presentations took place at CMAA’s Industry Recognition Banquet, during the National

Conference & Trade Show that took place in early November in Washington, DC.

Roughly 100 entries were received for this year’s program, and the panel of nearly 30 judges was chaired by Brian Koches, CCM of Jacobs and Judith Wallace, CCM of Vanir Construction

Management, Inc.
