Dr. M. Siraj Anwar M.A., M. Phil., Ph.D. Associate Professor (History) Specialisation: Medieval Indian History Dr M. Siraj Anwar is working as an Associate Professor of History in National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi, India. Before joining NCERT, he has taught on ad-hoc basis at Centre of Advanced Studies, Department of History, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh from where he obtained his M.Phil. and Ph. D. degrees. He also taught history and social science education to the students of Fouryear B.A.B.Ed. and Two-year B.Ed. (Secondary) at Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhopal. He is currently posted in Planning and Monitoring Division of NCERT, New Delhi. He has authored a book ‘Mughals and the Deccan: Political Relations with Ahmadnagar Kingdom’ (2007: New Delhi). He also co-edited ‘Annotated Bibliography on Value Education in India’ (2002: NCERT, New Delhi).
