Event Summary
All participants will start their 2015 Fun Day with at 7:30 am with registration. A complimentary networking breakfast that includes a hosted beverage bar serving Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers and
Tequila Sunrises will be served at 8:00 am. The driving range will also be open for warming up.
Wine participants will convene in the golf course parking lot at 8:45 am to board shuttle buses which will depart promptly at 9:00 am for the Carneros District in Sonoma. Golfers will be asked to go to their carts at 9:15 am for a 9:30 am shotgun start.
At approximately 3:00 pm, ISPE will provide appetizers at a no host bar followed by a Banquet
Dinner and Awards Ceremony at Chardonnay Golf Club starting at 4:00 pm that is open to Fun Day participants to network and reminisce about the day's events.
Golf Tournament
ISPE has been given exclusive use of the 18-hole Chardonnay and the adjacent 18-hole Eagle
Vines golf courses for Fun Day. Conducting the Golf Tournament on 36-holes will speed up play and provide more sponsorship opportunities out on the courses.
We will continue a scramble format where the best shot from each player is used. This format makes the game fun for golfers of all abilities. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams, as well as closest to the pin and longest drive holes on both courses.
Sonoma's Carneros Region Winery Tours
We are planning this year's winery visits in the Carneros AVA District in Sonoma. Each group will visit three of the four wineries below with one visit before lunch and one visit after lunch. A wine tasting and lunch will be served at Cline Cellars with the famous "Lobster" feast on the menu. The committee will make winery assignments. At 4:00 pm the buses return to Chardonnay Golf Course for the awards banquet.
Famous Lobster Fest Lunch at Cline Cellars
Cline Cellars is a family-owned vineyard and winery in the beautiful Carneros region of Sonoma
County. Cline is situated on a historic 350-acre estate where they sustainably farm and craft Single
Vineyard, Sonoma County, Ancient Vine and California wines.
Lunch will feature the lobster feed you've loved in the past or heard about from your colleagues. It's a fantastic spread of one full lobster per guest, prawns, corn on the cob, garlic, artichokes, red potatoes, all beef hot links, bread and drawn butter. Yum!!! Oh, and local "It's It" ice cream sandwiches are for dessert.
A vegetarian lunch alternative is available if requested in advance.
Viansa Winery
Idyllically situated on a hilltop at the entrance to the legendary Sonoma Valley, Viansa Winery &
Marketplace naturally embodies the proud history of local winemaking. In 1989, members of the
Sebastiani family, Sonoma's earliest Italian winemakers, created Viansa to share their love of good wine, food and Italian heritage with visitors from around the world.

The Gloria Ferrer winemaking team's quest for perfection takes them to Champagne where they manage to acquire Pinot Noir and Chardonnay clones. Gloria Ferrer is not only the first sparkling wine house in Sonoma Carneros, but also the first to plant Champagne clones and the first to plant in Carneros.
Great sparkling wines are all about the Cuvée. At Gloria Ferrer, the range of Pinot Noir and

Gift Bags...Gift Bags!!!
Each year, our volunteers assemble gifts bags that are given to all of the participants upon registration the day of the event. This is just another feature of the event that makes it special.
We need your gift bag donations!
This is a great way to advertise your company by providing a useful, fun or just plain silly item for additional marketing visibility. In order to ensure all of the participants receive your promotional item, please furnish at least 125 each of the promotional item for Wine Tour participants and/or 220 each of the item for the
Golfers. Popular items in the past have included bags, visors, sunscreen, wine bags, wine bottle openers, golf towels, etc (suggested value $7 - $20 per item). No fragile items please (e.g. wine glasses).
