Study or Action
After reviewing the data from Spring
2012 and Fall 2012:
Performance data indicate that in
both years the item where students
scored the highest was CE4 “uses
methods for learning that are positive,
respectful and open” with an average
of 87% ranking target. The lowest
ranking item continues to be PR2
“communication with parents and
colleagues…”
The majority of students scored
Target and Acceptable in all items
both semesters.
One item of concern was item PP7
‘creates lesson and activities to meet
the development and individual needs
and diverse learners” The majority of
the students scored at Target or
Acceptable in Fall 2012, 9.5% scored
“no response”. In Spring of 2012,
4.9% scored “No Response”
Summer and Fall 2012 data. Students
who completed the Action Research
study with 80-100% scoring in Target
instructors at the beginning of
each semester reminding them to
check Livetext for course
assignments. This is challenging
due to the number of temporary
faculty.
ensure that all
instructors are
aware of
assessments.
Continue to discuss interpretation
of TCPP items where No
response is entered with
supervisors.
Fall 2013
Continue to develop and skills in
the area of accommodations.
Discuss the possibility of
separation of graduate data from
undergraduate data.
