in the Purchasing Office by 2:00 p.m. eastern standard time, Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Edinboro University reserves the
right to reject any and all bids and to choose the bid which best meets the requirements of the University. If we do not receive
your statement of “no bid”, it will be concluded that you have no interest in providing these materials or services.

Remove grease and debris, video and inspect
approximately 3860 feet of underground sanitary waste
lines, four grease traps, 19 manholes and two lift
stations on main campus of Edinboro University,
Edinboro, PA. Lift station bypass pumping may be
needed to perform these services. Written report of
inspection results must be provided (sample report –
Attachment A). Report to include prioritized list of all
defects identified.

Work will need to be coordinated between Contractor,
Campus and the Borough of Edinboro at a mutually agreed
upon date. Anticipated service months are July and January.
Removal of waste from any line, manhole or lift station to be
disposed of properly according to Local, State and Federal
regulations.
Awarded contractor is required to provide Certificate of
Insurance naming Edinboro University as additional insured
prior to start of work.
Optional one (1) year renewals; maximum term from Contract
inception is a total of five (5) years. Escalation of annual costs
for subsequent years of this contract is not automatic and shall
not exceed inflation guidelines as established by the nationally
accepted Consumer Price Index-Urban (CPI) for each year for
this particular commodity or service. Contractor must provide
documentation to justify escalation and make escalation
request in writing on an annual basis.
Please be advised that all responses to this procurement
opportunity are subject to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know
Law, 65 P.S. §66.1 et seq., effective January 1, 2009 (Act 3 of
2008). The Right-to-Know Law permits any requestor to
inspect and/or copy any record prepared and maintained or
received in the course of the operation of a public office or
agency that is not subject to the enumerated exceptions.
Should you elect to submit a bid and it becomes the subject of
a Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law request, you will be asked
by the University to identify all financial, privileged,
confidential, and proprietary information that is included in
your proposal. This information may be exempt from
disclosure in responses to a request.
