A Criminal Justice major will take 36 major credits at the 300+ level in required criminal justice courses (Category II) and criminal justice electives (Category III). Therefore, Criminal Justice majors must earn a minimum of 12 credits in general education (Category I), field experience or concentration (category IV), and/or open electives (Category V) at the 300+ level.
