Kirkwood, Missouri Meramec Community College ^ the Remote Access Computing System (hereinafter called "RACS"), - or such functional software improvements as made available by the manufacturer (IBM), which would improve the capabilities of such a terminal system, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 12:00 A.M., and 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. five days a week. Other time periods for said cc-puting services may be scheduled; provided however, that 24-hcurs notice shall be given to the University computing facilities operating staff prior to any such scheduling and only on an "if available" basis. 3. During the time period specified in paragraph 1, JCD shall have remote access through the use of its terminals to the computational capabilities of the IBM Model 360, Series 50 Computer for instructional and other purposes using the FORTRAN Programming Language. Any other programs or problems using other language systems m=y be transmitted over the JCD terminals or delivered to the terminal facilities by courier and will be saved and processed in batch-rrdes within 24 hours after delivery to the computer facilities. These other programs shall no be processed on line under RACS. 4. "-'diversity agrees that JCD projects transmitted under RACS usir.^ FORTRAN will be assigned high priority to assure minimum time between completion of transmission and computer return l&p of information and execution of any project. JCD agrees to place a one-mir.ute time maximum on each, job card or project request that. utilizes FORTRAN under RACS in order that any use of the computer in excess of one minute shall be automatically terminated. 5. To be responsible for planning the schedule of nursing si-cent g g g 9 assignments and transmitting to hospital in advance a schedule of such assir:i- g 9 ments, listing the number of students and instructors assigned to the clinical g nursing areas and giving the dates and times of assignment and type of ces.rea HJ 9 ^ ^ 9 learning experience. 9 prior to implementation by Junior College. 9 D. These schedules shall be approved in writing by Hospital To withdraw any nursing student from the assignee clinic..- 9 nursing area when the nursing student is undesirable for reasons or aealt:.. igi pelijriuiicc or other reasonable causes. g g g g am I I P W igMSk ^*8KF F. , To assume responsibility for encouraging nursing students and instructors compliance with all officially disseminated rul^ and regulations G. To provide orientation sessions to the Hospital staff on the Junior College Educational Program. K. To reimburse the Hospital for any loss, damage or breakage of any equipment caused by nursing students' or instructors' use- of said equipment. A. To make available the clinical nursing areas fcr nursing student experience, including the necessary equipment and supplies for giving 3. To furnish the Junior College with a complete set of all rules ari ^ regulations in force in the Hospital, together with all amendments, deletions, and revisions thereof in order that this information can be disseminated to in- I structors and nursing students. C. To provide nursing students and instructors (1) a room or other facilities for changing to hospital clothes, and (2) the use of the cafeteria D. To provide a conference room or rooms for use by the Junior College instructional personnel in conjunction with the clinical nursing laboratory E. To provide office space to accommodate Junior College instructional A. That under no circumstances is any nursing student or instructor of the Junior College to be considered an agent, servant or emplcyee of the Hospital, but rather will be considered to be on the Hospital premises for the purpose of teaching or acquiring nursing education skills. is.
