The meeting for Dec. 3, 2015, will be in RL 17, and not in RL 29. If there is a continuation meeting on
Dec. 10, it will also be in RL 17, but begin at 10 am due to the finals exam schedule.

N. Johnson was present to speak to this proposal. The effective date was changed from
Spring 2016 to Fall 2016. The major change in this is to change the course to variable
credit, so that students can take it for either 3 or 6 credits, depending on their internship.
L. Male asked if this could only be taken one time, and N. Johnson stated that it is to be
taken during the final semester of study.

Addition of new certification program.

effective date needs to be Spring 2016, as there are students already taking these courses
that need to be in this program, and that it has already been approved by PASSHE. The
committee agreed to leave the effective date as Spring 2016.

prerequisites for the courses being made clear to students, and J. Vafeas suggested adding
a not about courses having prerequisites. M. Stewart had a concern about taking
overlapping courses with majors requirements.
