completion of this degree, upon recommendation of the student’s graduate advisor. This eliminates “ENG prefix”
wording from the rule. Non-thesis option: eliminate comprehensive examination requirement; replace with ENG 599
Independent Study, a required course to be taken during the final semester of graduate work. This Independent study
will serve as a Capstone Project for the student’s graduate experience. Total program credits increased from 30 to 33
