Live on campus, study in a certificate program, and earn credit to transfer back to your home institution.
Students may complete some coursework beyond the certificate program.
Nationally recognized as one of the premier colleges of Urban Affairs, the Levin College has been ranked 2nd
in the nation for the graduate specialty in City Management and Urban Policy by U.S. News and World Report
since 1998. The only College of Urban Affairs in Ohio, Levin is home to nationally recognized faculty as well as
the Urban Center, fee and contract-supported applied research units with specializations in the fields of public
management, nonprofit management, community development, economic development, and more. At the Levin
College of Urban Affairs students will have opportunities to participate in applied research, internships, and
scholarly research within the field of public administration.

Required Admissions Materials
Fall Application Deadline: May 15, 2016
Spring Application Deadline: October 15, 2015
1. Submit application and application fee for Certificate Program.
2. Mail in OFFICIAL university transcripts (students must have a 2.75 GPA).
3. Submit any additional admission materials (see the certificate admission requirements online)
4. Meet one of the following English Language Requirements:
• Meet the current score requirements on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 525 (Paper Based Exam) or 65 Internet Based Exam (with minimum of 14 in sections). Only
official test scores received directly from the testing authority (ETS) will be considered valid
(www.ets.org).
• Pass the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum score
of 6.0 (www.ielts.org).
• Pass the iTEP (International Test of English Proficiency) with a score of 5.0.
• Or meet other language requirement options as outlined by International Admissions.
5. Show financial (tuition and living expenses) support for one academic year:
• An original bank statement in your name, which indicates the amount of funds available.
• An original bank statement in your guarantor’s name (sponsor or parent) that indicates the
amount available accompanied by a letter of confirmation from the guarantor of his or her
intention to provide support.The bank statement MUST indicate a minimum amount held in
the account, on bank stationary with a telephone, FAX number and street address.
• Or submit other finiancial documents as outlined by International Admissions.
