A Texas Tech Officer arrested a non-student for two outstanding Lubbock
County Sheriff’s Department warrants following a traffic stop in the 300
block of Quaker Avenue. The non-student was issued one Lubbock County
citation for driving while license invalid, which he signed. The non-student
was transported to the Lubbock County Jail. His vehicle was impounded by
Lubbock Wrecker Service. See offense report # 11-2095.

A Texas Tech Officer detained a student, following an observed traffic violation
in the 800 block of University Avenue. The student was issued two Lubbock
County citations for driving under the influence by a minor and possession of
fictitious license. The student was released and his vehicle was left legally
parked. See offense report # 11-2096.
