A Texas Tech Officer arrested a student for outstanding Lubbock County
Sheriff Department warrants, following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of
Akron Avenue. The student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail. The
vehicle was impounded by Lubbock Wrecker Service. See incident report
#11-1081.

A Texas Tech Officer documented information in reference to a residential
house fire in the 2700 block of 23rd Street. Two Texas Tech officers observed
the house on fire. Lubbock Fire Department responded and extinguished the
fire. See incident report # 11-1082.
TTPD
A Texas Tech Officer arrested a non student for public intoxication in the
2900 block of 15th Street following an investigation for duty upon striking a
fixture. The non student is suspected of driving a vehicle crashing into a
street sign. The non student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail. The
non student’s vehicle was impounded by Lubbock Wrecker Service. See
offense report 11-1083 and crash report # 11-1084.
