striking an unattended vehicle, which occurred on April 8, 2010 in the C11

Officer Snow investigated an assault which occurred in the 1400 block of
University Avenue. Officer Snow was flagged down by a non-student who
stated that he had been punched and kicked by his son who also is a nonstudent. Officer Snow placed the son under arrest for assault (domestic
violence) and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported him to the
Lubbock County Jail. See offense report #10-0585.

Officer Brown responded to a medical emergency which occurred on the
basketball courts at the Recreational Center. A student was hit in the face
while playing basketball. The student was transported to UMC ER by EMS.

Officer Tyree investigated an assault (domestic violence), which occurred on
the northwest concourse of the United Spirit Arena. A non-student was
grabbed by her husband injuring her arm. The suspect had left the area prior to
the officer’s arrival. See offense report # 10-0587.

Officer Babcock investigated a traffic accident, without injuries, and duty
upon striking an unattended vehicle, which occurred in the 2800 block of 18th
Street. See state crash report # 10-0588 and offense report # 10-0593.

Officer Cruz arrested a student for driving while intoxicated, which occurred
on the north side, sidewalk, of the Texas Tech Police Department. The
student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail. The vehicle was
inventoried and impounded by Lubbock Wrecker Service. See offense report
# 10-0589.

Officer Babcock released three students pending the filing of charges with the
Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office for possession of marijuana,
which occurred in room 405 Coleman Residence Hall. They were also issued
citations for possession of drug paraphernalia. See offense report # 10-0590.

Officer Tyree issued a student and a non student a citation for consumption of
alcohol by a minor, which occurred in the lobby of Chitwood Residence Hall.
The non student was also issued a Lubbock County citation for criminal
mischief for damaging a bulletin board by the elevator. See offense report #

on the 12th floor student lounge area of Weymouth Residence Hall. The non

of Murdough Residence Hall. Ceiling tiles were damaged. See offense report
