Lamparero ’87 Endows Industrial and Systems Engineering Scholarship
Juan Manuel Lamparero of Mexico recently gifted a $25,000
industrial and systems engineering scholarship. The Veronica
and Juan Manuel Lamparero Endowed Scholarship will provide
scholarships to full-time students in the Department of
Industrial and Systems Engineering who are members of the
Society of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES) or
the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).
Lamparero holds a B.S. degree from Texas A&M in industrial
engineering and an MBA degree from Heriot Watt University in
the UK. He is founding partner and CEO of Industrial Solutions
Technology of Mexico, a company which delivers information
technology solutions with an emphasis on information
technology security. He has three times won the Aggie 100
Award, which is sponsored by the Mays Business School to
recognize the fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led
businesses in the world.
Lamparero is married to Veronica and they have two children.
He is a member of the Texas A&M Hispanic Former Students Network.
