Next Steps (5 min.) a. Follow-on webinar to discuss feedback about the online community Small Group Discussion Instructions All participants have been assigned to a discussion table (please see discussion group assignments). Throughout your conversation please reflect on the current training needs in the field, HSR core competencies, and the HSRLC strategic plan and action plan, which may provide ideas for discussion with the group. To the extent you feel my.academyhealth.org can help fulfill these needs, specific suggestions for a governance structure to guide a virtual discussion; thoughts on content; and strategies to engage other employers, educators, and students in the discussion will be helpful. 1. What strategies do you think would be effective to facilitate a conversation and activities on learning/training with HSR employers, educators, and students at institutions across the country? Are there pedagogical or conceptual models you (or your institution) have used to guide thinking about training that you think would be effective? 2. Where do you look for information on learning/training now? What types of information are you looking for? How do you share this information with colleagues/faculty/students or other key stakeholders? 3. How could the HSRLC replicate and improve efforts to exchange information and expand your network using virtual tools (e.g. discussion forums, websites, webinars, etc.)? 4. Do you have thoughts on how to set up and make the most effective use of the my.academyhealth.org platform and the new HSR Learning Community? A template for feedback from each table has been provided to each facilitator. Your comments will be summarized and shared with the group over the summer, and discussed as part of a follow-up webinar in September.
