Kellye performs due diligence searches in Ontario and across Canada, as well as in the U.S., drafts and files
PPSA Financing Statements (including amendments, renewals and discharges) in Ontario and across
Canada, as well as UCC registrations in the U.S. She regularly works in conjunction with agents and
government agencies regarding service requests in various jurisdictions, providing search summary reports on
results, and guidance to lawyers, law clerks and law students with regard to interpretation and application of
search results.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Kellye practiced for 8 years as a Corporate Law Clerk with a large downtown
Toronto law firm. She also worked as a Commercial Litigator with a litigation boutique firm working exclusively
for the CIBC’s Small Business Development Group. She has 20 years experience as a Corporate Search
Clerk within medium and large-sized downtown law firms, including the Toronto satellite office of an
international law firm.
Kellye graduated from the Law Clerks Course at Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology and from
the Social Sciences Course at Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology. She also completed the
Corporate Certificate Course with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
Kellye is an active member of the Institute of Law Clerks.
