University Requirements for Degree
*TTU GPA: Minimum 2.75 GPA on all course work at TTU.
*Overall GPA: Minimum 2.75 GPA on all course work attempted, transfer hours included.
*Upper Level Hours: 42 upper level hours (3000/4000 level courses); at least 24 upper level hours.
*Total Hours: 120 minimum, based on track selected; last 30 hours completed at TTU. 6 hours of Writing
Intensive Courses. Completion of total hours does not guarantee completion of all requirements.

Requirements for 2+1 Program Core Requirements
Students entering the Dallas, Fort Worth, Hill Country or San Antonio 2+1 programs must have a completed Associate of Arts in Teaching
degree (EC-6). The requirements for the AAT will fulfill the 66 hours for continution to the certification program.
TTU Requires the listed 66 hours due to the rigor and intensity of the program. You may be asked to complete additional hours to meet these
requirements.
