Chabot College September 2000 Course Outline for Physical Education 3 ADVANCED GOLF TOURNAMENT MENTAL PREPARATION Catalog Description: PHED 3GLM – Advanced Golf Tournament Mental Preparation 1.5 unit The course is designed to prepare the advanced golfer to handle the pressures of tournament golf through mental and physical relaxation techniques in top amateur golf. The class will meet 6 hours per week. Prerequisite Skills: 1. Tournament playing with a maximum index of 6 or lower 2. Verification of playing index (NCGA Card) 3. Pass performance testing Expected Outcomes for the Students: The course is designed to prepare the advanced golfer to handle the pressures of tournament golf through mental and physical relaxation techniques in top amateur golf.
