GOLF COURSE MANAGEMENT
Catalog Description:
PHED 2GCM – Golf Course Management
1 unit
Student will play four different executive golf courses locally. Emphasis one rules, etiquette, safety, skills,
and course strategy. Course is designed for the beginner and student will play 9 holes. The class will meet
3 hours per week.
Prerequisite Skills:
None
Expected Outcomes for the Students:
Student will play four different executive golf courses locally. Emphasis one rules, etiquette, safety, skills,
and course strategy. Course is designed for the beginner and student will play 9 holes. Students must
provide own clubs, transportation, and green fees must be paid every time to each facility. First class meets
in Room 2614.
