Preparation for problem solving success in college for those with learning disabilities. Emphasis on quantitative reasoning abilities needed to process and integrate word problems and related problem solving tasks. Designed for students with identified learning disabilities. Strongly recommended:

Expected Outcomes for Students:
Upon completion of this course the students should:
1. demonstrate an understanding of relationships and patterns inherent in word problems;
2. process, integrate and organize these patterns in order to demonstrate the ability to think mathematically;
3. demonstrate through written or oral response an understanding of basic problem solving techniques.
