76 - Baton Training for Security Guards

Legal uses of the baton, emphasis on appropriate and legal use of the baton. Exercising selfdiscipline in the use of the baton. Includes training and demonstration of techniques. 12 total
hours.
Expected Outcomes for Students:
Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to:

know the legal uses of the baton and the application;

understand that the baton is a weapon, and should take exercises in self-discipline;

know the various hand grips, and the basic baton techniques.
