The Department of Chemistry at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for a temporary
teaching appointment at the rank of Lecturer for the 2010-2011 Academic Year. The appointment will
involve principal responsibility for teaching the introductory and organic laboratory courses as well as an
introductory chemistry lecture. The 2010-11 academic year runs from August 23, 2010 until May 15,
2011. Candidates must have a Ph. D; preference will be given to persons with demonstrated experience
and effectiveness teaching first and second year students. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae,
including a summary of teaching experience and summary of class evaluations and arrange to have two
