January 27, 2011 12 Noon, Room 1506 1. Meeting Minutes from December 9, 2010 distributed 2. Special Reports: A. Patty (BFGC architects) gave a report and a 3D presentation on B1200/SOTA Plaza. Project is currently at DSA with a projected start date for this summer. The budget is very tight and the group has opted to designate SOTA Plaza as an additive bid alternate. This means that the cost of SOTA Plaza will be broken out as a separate price by the bidders and that it could be removed from the project if bids come in high. The hope is that the favorable bid climate continues and we can afford the entire project. Details included a discussion of the SOTA Plaza trees. Some existing trees in the plaza, non evergreen, are planned to be removed and will be replaced with new plantings with a net increase in the number of trees. B. Doug reported that the Board received a grant that will build two electric vehicle charging stations at Chabot. Details of site and use to be worked out at a later date. 3.
