The Chabot Automotive program
provides training for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the
automotive service industry. We are
a NATEF certified program. Our
program provides the knowledge and
skills needed to become a highly
sought after entry level technician.
You will learn how to diagnose service and repair an automobile with
pride and confidence in our state of
the art facility. You will be training
side by side with apprentices from
local dealerships that use Chabot exclusively to train their technicians.
The Hybrid courses will provide students with fundamental knowledge
and experience on Hybrid Vehicles.
These vehicles currently comprise an
ever increasing portion of the new
car sales for manufacturers like
Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford, BMW,
MBZ and many others. *California
ranks #1 with total number of new
Hybrid Vehicle sales in the U.S.,
while the San Francisco Bay Area
ranks 3rd by region. The unique
complexities and safety issues associated with Hybrid Vehicles necessitate
additional training for the technicians of today and tomorrow.
