When a faculty member experiences an illness which requires absence from classes or office hours, he/she
must notify his/her Department Chairperson so that appropriate coverage may be arranged.
Faculty who experience an illness requiring absence from classes for more than one week must notify the
Dean and the Department Chairperson in writing.
