SOCIETY OF PHYSICS STUDENTS (SPS) EVENT Get the Scoop on X-Ray Physics (and a scoop of LN2 Ice Cream, of course) at the SPS End of the Year Party! Abstract: Come join the Society of Physics Students (SPS) in our fantastic end of the year party! Not only will you enjoy great company and great food, but you will finally get “the scoop” on X-Ray physics! The program is highlighted by the traditional making of Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream by your SPS officers! Also planned are short presentations by the Modern Physics Laboratory students about the CSU X-Ray apparatus and all of its capabilities, a few announcements from SPS officers, Fall 2009 officer elections, announcements of summer work opportunities in the Physics Department, and of course lots of raffle prizes!
