SOCIETY OF PHYSICS STUDENTS (SPS) EVENT Celebrating the man behind the scenes of the Physics Department for the last 30 years: Bryan Carpenter A Retirement party for the dear friend of SPS In case you didn't know, our very own Mr. Bryan Carpenter retired this semester. Bryan was the Electronics Technician & Machine Shop Advisor in the physics department, and he worked at CSU for 30 years! Though the years EACH of the physics TAs and RAs was helped and taught by Bryan. He was also instrumental in the recent successes of the SPS events (Physics of Rock and Roll, Physics Jeopardy, Physics Olympics, Catapult Contests) and Departmental/SPS outreach activities (Physics days, Dangerously Daring Demos event, CIS outreach). SPS is hosting a party for Bryan this Friday at 12:30 in SI 147/117, and you are all invited!
