Building 100: Scaling Community The current design of building 100 builds space for faculty and students to inquire together to create and refine appropriate educational support, both in and out of the classroom. Students need space to study and gather around learning. Students need community and information; they need tables, chairs, computers, access to support, and opportunities to interact and explore their interests. Faculty need spaces to study, to design programs, to pilot, and to institutionalize initiatives that work. They need technology, tools, tables, and access to infrastructure and resources. With the library, programs supporting faculty and students in a space with new adjacencies will create synergy among disparate groups across campus, forming a community hub for teaching and learning at Chabot.
