Problem Statement: Summarize your original Program Review conclusions (or if this was done in last year’s unit plan, please update). 1B. Analysis: What was the basis for these new and/or continuing conclusions? The requirements and demands for technology (phones, audio visual, computers, and network) are increasing with no increase in budget, work force or support. The office has an opportunity to increase support and the challenge to find solutions that do not increase our budget or staffing. Additional remote campuses and labs on/off campus are going to require new methods of operation and support 2. List your accomplishments. How do they relate to your program review and previous unit planning? Please cite any relevant data elements (e.g., efficiency, productivity, survey results, etc.). Replaced over 440 computers on campus – inventory. Improved wireless locations up to 18 on campus. 3. List your new and continuing unit goals. Based upon what you accomplished, do you have any changes you are making to your goals or timeline? Please make any revisions to the timeline on the next page. Continuing goals (if you did not do a unit plan, skip to the next box): Deployed over 400 computers and upgraded servers for providing remote management of the individual computers in the last year. Converted over 300 phones to a more stable platform. Chabot College Program Review New goals: 4. Discuss how these goals support the college Strategic Plan goals and/or strategies. Continuing goals (if you did not do a unit plan, skip to the next box): Provided a 72 hour completion average of trouble tickets for the campus. Improved phone system by moving to a more stable platform. Computer Support responded to 1812 tickets averaging 96 hours per ticket resolution. This does not special projects, new installations or emergency call. New goals: Improve remote management of computers for more efficient repair times. 5.
