2. Student Learning Outcomes Inventory
a. What percentage of courses in your discipline have Student Learning Outcomes developed? Both the Student Leadership Training Program and
the ASCC Cheerleading Program utilized SLOs, so in this regard, 100% of the “courses”, a.k.a. programs, have SLOs.
b. How many Student Learning Outcomes are there on average per course? There are 8 modules with specific SLOs for the 8 week Student
Leadership Training Program and 2 SLOs for the ASCC Cheerleading Program.
Chabot College Program Review
c. What percentage of course SLOs in your discipline have been assessed? At this time, both programs are in the initial stages of student use, so
neither programs have been assessed. First assessment is scheduled for August, 2011.
d. What percentage of courses in your discipline have had the assessments reflected upon, or discussed with colleagues, or discussed with the
college at large? The Student Leadership Program has been reflected upon by both CSUEB professors and CSUEB master degree students as well as
the ASCC. There are plans to bring both programs to other individuals for reflection.
e. Has your discipline determined any actions that might be taken as a result of this data, or insights? At this time, no, because there currently is no
assessment data. There are plans to review the data and insights beginning in August, 2011 after the initial pilot has been launched.
If your area does not use SLOs, please use data from Service Area Outcomes.
3. List your accomplishments. How do they relate to your program review, unit planning and SAO/SLO work? Please cite any relevant data
elements (e.g., efficiency, persistence, FT/PT faculty ratios, SAO/SLO assessment results, external accreditation demands, etc.).
To be determined after August, 2011.
4. List your new and continuing unit goals. Based upon what you accomplished, do you have any changes you are making to your goals or
timeline? Please make any revisions to the timeline on the next page.
