STAAR/END-OF-COURSE EXAMS
STAAR EOC exams are required following completion (some exceptions may apply):
• English I
• English II
• Algebra I
• Biology
• U.S. History
STUDENTS IN TEXAS
Students in Texas should pre-register online for EOC exams. Student should be enrolled in, or
have completed, the “B” semester of the course for which the EOC will be taken.

When completing the online registration form, you will need the following:
• Student Information:
o First Name
o Middle Initial (not required)
o Last Name
o Date of Birth
o Sex (Male, Female)
o Grade Level
o PEIMS-ID number: student’s social security number
• Correspondence Program: select Texas Tech University High School Diploma Program

Testing Location: select a site from the drop-down menu; if there is no testing location
listed for the district in which you live, contact the TTUISD STAAR Testing Coordinator
at (806) 834-0999 for assistance.
Test Selection: Check the EOC(s) for which you are registering; dates and times will be
displayed
Register: type the text and click Register button
After completing the online registration form, print the Confirmation page and notify the
TTUISD coordinator of your registration: pam.butler@ttu.edu or 806-834-0999
STUDENTS OUTSIDE OF TEXAS
Contact the TTUISD testing coordinator at 806-834-0999 to receive more
information about the process and fees for taking these assessments outside of
Texas. You will need to locate an approved proctor, and send paperwork and
fees to TTUISD at least six weeks prior to the testing date. You will be required
to show a state-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license at your testing
location.
PHOTO ID REQUIRED
ALL students must present a valid photo ID, such as driver’s license or school photo ID when
reporting for EOC testing. Full-time TTUISD students may request a TTUISD Student ID at
www.ttuisd.ttu.edu; enter “student ID form” in the search box’
