2 + 2 AGREEMENT
between
Texas Tech University
and
Texas Southmost College
This agreement summarizes an academic union between Texas Tech University (TTU) and Texas Southmost
to jointly support specific programs of study leading to a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. This
reement supplements any existing social contract of understanding between Texas Tech University and Texas
uthmost College, and is an assertive response to the need for a program in the Southern Texas region which
l~ads to a degree accredited by the National Architectural Accreditation Board (NAAB).

1his proposal provides for close peer coordination of curricula content and instruction in the General
1rchitecture and Pre-professional programs at Texas Tech University and the Architecture Program at Texas
outhmost College and facllltates a seamless transfer for students who are seeking a Bachelor of Science in
rchitecture at nu. Students will be able to complete the majority of the first two years of study at Texas
outhmost College and earn an Associate's Degree in Architecture at Texas Southmost College before or after
tfansfer to Texas Tech University. All Texas Southmost College courses listed on the most current course
ansfer agreement form will be accepted toward the Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree at nu.

The results of this joint enterprise will be monitored by representative of both Institutions and will be renewed
~t least every three years. Termination of this agreement may be initiated whenever either said party believes
