My name is Kristin Cartwright and I am from Lovington, New Mexico. I graduated from Texas Tech in
May of 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Retail Management. My retail experience began at Banana Republic
and from there I moved up to Drest while at Texas Tech. Working in the fashion industry while going to
school allowed me to better understand retail in real life situations.
I completed the Management Internship program at Nordstrom in Dallas, Texas. Because of my work
experience at BR and Drest, I was the top sales person in the store my first day at Nordstrom.
I am the women’s manager and a buyer for all of the women’s departments at Drest. I have coordinated
numerous style shows and pop up shops across Texas. I work one on one with many notable figures in
West Texas and have built an excellent book of business. In NYC, I shop personally for clients at some of
the top labels in the industry –Max Mara, Etro, Suno and Aquazurra to name a few!
