Kelsi Shuey

Academy Sports + Outdoors
Kelsi serves as the Category Space Analyst within the Space Planning Department
at Academy Sports + Outdoors. She is responsible for gathering and analyzing
data to maximize macro-space productivity across all divisions. She works closely
within cross-functioning teams to collaborate and execute business decisions that
ultimately better serve Academy’s customers.
Kelsi started her career with Academy Sports + Outdoors in December 2014 after
completing her Master’s degree from Texas Tech University. Prior to her Master’s
degree, she earned her B.S. in retail management, also at Texas Tech, in August
2013. During her time as a Red Raider, she served in numerous functions for the
College of Human Sciences. Kelsi currently lives in Houston and is a member of
the Texas Tech Alumni Association.
