TTU Worldwide eLearning eLearning Faculty Fellow As part of Texas Tech University’s effort to develop high quality online and distance education programs and to increase the total number of online or distance Red Raiders, TTU Worldwide eLearning has an opening for a term-appointed eLearning Faculty Fellow. This faculty fellowship position is intended to provide the candidate with a nine-month opportunity to cultivate a research project, be involved as eLearning develops new programs, and serve as an online/distance education advocate at Texas Tech University. We are interested in a candidate with training or experience in online and/or distance education and with a research agenda dealing with online and/or distance education. Candidates must be in a tenured, tenure-track or continuous appointment position. Candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Experience with online and/or distance education • Promise as a scholar with online and/or distance education • The desire to be a member of the eLearning staff • A commitment to advancing the overall online and distance education portfolio and experience at Texas Tech University. Description of Duties and Tasks: • Develop, conduct and present a research project on an emerging area of distance and/or online education. • Assist the eLearning staff on the development of new training classes dealing with online/distance education. • Assist with the development of a group of faculty advocates for online/distance education.
